Interstice: Text, Theory and the World invites original, unpublished work in the field of literary studies and critical theory.
Scope
The journal welcomes submissions that engage literature through theoretical frameworks, with particular interest in work that examines the relationship between text, interpretation and the world. Contributions may draw on established as well as contemporary approaches within literary and cultural theory.
Types of Submissions
- Research articles: 2000–4000 words
- Short essays: 1200–2000 words
Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- Submissions should be in Word format (.doc/.docx)
- Please follow MLA 9 style for citations and formatting
- Include a brief author bio (250 words) in a separate document
Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors should ensure that manuscripts are anonymised prior to submission.
